WASHINGTON, March 4 -- Brandeis University President Arthur Levine released a book on March 3 titled From Upheaval to Action: What Works in Changing Higher Ed, which explores effective strategies for transforming U.S. colleges. Levine, along with co-author Scott Van Pelt of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, argues that surface-level adjustments are insufficient for modern academic institutions.
