WASHINGTON, March 3 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Marine Fisheries Service has received a request from the U.S. Navy for authorization for incidental taking of marine mammals during the demolition of Pier 10 and the construction of a Crane Weight Test Area at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut.
