WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed to grant the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MoDNR) the authority to manage a partial Risk Management Program (RMP) specifically for agricultural anhydrous ammonia facilities. This proposal would allow the state to take the lead in overseeing safety requirements for approximately 200 facilities that use or store the chemical for fertilizer purposes.
