WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed to determine that the Illinois portion of the St. Louis nonattainment area has met the 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards. This proposal follows a review of ambient air monitoring data from the 2023-2025 period, which indicates the region successfully reached the required levels.
