WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Speaking to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in Vienna, Austria, head of the British delegation Neil Holland reaffirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to the humane treatment of prisoners of war and international humanitarian law. Holland stated that while the British government has investigated and held individuals accountable for past failings, it has used those experiences to improve detention policies and personnel training.
