WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 -- A majority of Virginia residents favor tougher gun control measures while remaining skeptical about the ability of such transition to reduce violence. According to a Roanoke College poll, 71% of respondents support licensing for gun owners and 67% back state registration for all firearms.
