WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- John A. Squires, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, signed an agreement to launch the Mountain West Community Engagement Office during remarks at the University of Utah campus on Feb. 20, 2026.
