WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management has initiated a revision of the Northwestern and Coastal Oregon and Southwestern Oregon Resource Management Plans to address forest health and declining timber production. This planning effort aims to align timber harvest levels with the historically higher yields required by the Oregon and California Revested Railroad Lands Act of 1937.
