WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 -- New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined community leaders and developers in East Harlem to break ground on Timbale Terrace, a 20-story development featuring 341 affordable homes. Speaking at the project site, Mamdani emphasized that the building will serve low-income and formerly homeless New Yorkers while providing a permanent home for the Afro-Latin Jazz Alliance Casa Belongo.
