WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs published the Alcoholic Beverage Control Ordinance for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Arizona. The ordinance regulates the possession, consumption and sale of alcoholic beverages within the reservation.

The community government intends for this ordinance to:

* Strengthen local control over the distribution and sale of alcohol.
