WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is reviewing a petition from Bayer U.S.-Crop Science, Whippany, New Jersey, seeking a determination of nonregulated status for a variety of genetically engineered soybean. This variety was developed to express two insecticidal proteins that protect the crop against feeding damage caused by target lepidopteran pests.
