WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed to partially approve and partially disapprove a revision to the Hawaii state implementation plan (SIP) intended to reduce regional haze. The plan, submitted by the Hawaii Department of Health on Aug. 2, 2024, outlines strategies for the program's second implementation period to protect visibility in the state's Class I Federal areas.
