ITA Investigates Subsidies on Citric Acid From Canada, India

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration initiated countervailing duty investigations to determine if producers of citric acid and certain citrate salts in Canada and India receive illegal government subsidies.

ITA launched the probe following petitions filed on Jan. 21, 2026, by Archer-Daniels-Midland Co., Chicago, Illinois, Cargill Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Primary Products Ingredients Americas LLC, Schaumburg, Illin . . .
