WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Roanoke College has established the Kim Kyusik Center for Korean Studies in collaboration with The Independence Hall of Korea, creating a hub for research, education and cultural exchange rooted in the institution's historic ties to Korea.
Located in the college's Bank Building, the center is named for Kim Kyusik, a leader in Korea's independence movement and a Roanoke graduate. Exhibits trace his journey from international student in the 1890s . . .
