WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Railroad Administration is reviewing a request from the Association of American Railroads (AAR) to extend relief from safety regulations governing locomotive air brake systems. The association petitioned for continued waivers regarding maintenance and testing intervals for specific electronic air brake hardware.
