WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration announced that Scottsdale Research Institute, Phoenix, Arizona, has applied to be registered as a bulk manufacturer of several Schedule I controlled substances.

The request involves the following substances:

* Marihuana

* Marihuana Extract

* Tetrahydrocannabinols
