NRC Issues Final EIS for Tennessee Fuel Facility

WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission released a final environmental impact statement regarding a license application for the Triso-X Fuel Fabrication Facility. The proposal involves authorizing Triso-X LLC, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to possess and use special nuclear material to manufacture high-assay low enriched uranium fuel.
