WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 -- Yale School of the Environment research finds that targeted zoning reforms could significantly reduce how far Americans travel each day lowering transportation related emissions across U.S. cities.

The study co authored by Arianna Salazar-Miranda assistant professor of urban planning and data science uses generative artificial intelligence to simulate how changes in land use patterns influence daily mobility. Published in the journal Cities the research analyz . . .
