WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 (TNSFR) -- The National Credit Union Administration issued a proposed rule aimed at modernizing the process for insured credit unions converting into banks. The proposal seeks to eliminate several prescriptive requirements, giving credit union boards of directors greater flexibility to exercise business judgment while reducing administrative costs.
