BLM Announces Alaska Oil, Gas Lease Sale

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Alaska State Office scheduled an oil and gas lease sale bid opening for more than 600 tracts within the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska. This sale covers approximately 5.5 million acres available for leasing under the 2025 Record of Decision for the Integrated Activity Plan.

The bid opening is set for 10 a.m. on March 18, 2026. This action follows the direction of the One Big Beautiful Bil . . .
