WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is notifying the public of a petition seeking nonregulated status for a citrange rootstock developed through genetic engineering. Soil Culture Solutions LLC, Tampa, Florida, submitted the request for the CarriCea Carrizo citrange, which was engineered for improved resistance to citrus greening disease, also known as Huanglongbing.
