NOAA Reviews Permit Application for Pinniped Research Parts

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced that Amanda Bishop of the University of Alaska Anchorage campus has applied for a permit to manage pinniped parts for scientific study. The application seeks authorization to receive, import, and export specimens to conduct research on the toxicology, ecology and physiology of these marine mammals.
