Agricultural Marketing Service Proposes Lower Assessment Rate for Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onions

WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service issued a proposal to decrease the assessment rate for onions grown in designated counties in Idaho and Malheur County, Oregon. The recommendation, stemming from the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee, suggests lowering the rate from $0.07 to $0.05 per hundredweight.
