WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 (TNSFR) -- Operation Airdrop Inc. has filed a petition for exemption with the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration to allow volunteer pilots to receive reimbursement for fuel and airport expenses. The requested relief would apply specifically to pilots acting as pilot in command during charitable flight operations following natural disasters.
