WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service amended special regulations for Whiskeytown National Recreation Area to authorize bicycle use on approximately 79.8 miles of multi-use trails. This final rule addresses trail management needs following the 2018 Carr Fire, which impacted 39,000 acres of the recreation area.
