WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review issued an interim final rule to streamline how the Board of Immigration Appeals handles its caseload. The rule, effective March 9, 2026, fundamentally changes the board's review process from mandatory to discretionary for most cases and adjusts filing deadlines to increase administrative efficiency.
