WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration issued a final rule to implement the Protecting Patient Access to Emergency Medications Act of 2017. This action amends the Controlled Substances Act to create a registration category specifically for emergency medical services agencies, allowing them to better manage controlled substances used in life-saving interventions.
