WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division filed a civil lawsuit to block the acquisition of Kito Crosby Ltd., Arlington, Texas, by Columbus McKinnon Corp., Charlotte, North Carolina. The government alleges the $2.7 billion deal would eliminate competition between two primary producers of electric chain hoists and overhead lifting chain.
