WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani issued the following remarks announcing the appointment of five public servants to lead key municipal agencies during a briefing in the Bronx on Saturday. The appointments include Stanley Richards as commissioner of the Department of Correction, Alister Martin as commissioner of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and Sandra Escamilla-Davies as commissioner of the Department of Youth and Community Development.
