WASHINGTON, Jan. 29 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Ocean Energy Management initiated the first steps toward a potential lease sale for minerals on the outer continental shelf offshore Alaska. The agency published a request for information and interest to gauge commercial desire and gather data on an area covering approximately 113.7 million acres.
