WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 (TNSFR) -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that it has provisionally accepted a settlement agreement requiring The Clorox Co., Oakland, California, to pay a $14,150,000 civil penalty. The agreement addresses charges that the firm failed to immediately report bacterial contamination in millions of units of Pine-Sol Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners.
