WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined federal representatives at a news conference in Darwin to announce a $24.6 million investment for a medical school at Charles Darwin University. Speaking alongside Malarndirri McCarthy, minister for Indigenous Australians, and Luke Gosling, special envoy for Northern Australia, Albanese detailed plans to train local doctors to address regional shortages.
