WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement confirmed that it is proceeding with a final rule to remove long-suspended regulations regarding underground mining. The move cleans up the Code of Federal Regulations by deleting language that has been unenforceable for over two decades.
