WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 -- During a United Nations Security Council meeting in New York, British Ambassador James Kariuki, charge d'affaires at the U.N., urged the Colombian government to accelerate implementation of the 2016 Peace Agreement. Kariuki emphasized that the current administration must establish enduring institutions to honor commitments regarding transitional justice and the ethnic chapter for future leaders.
