EPA Proposes Clean Data Determination for Baltimore Ozone Levels

WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed to determine that the Baltimore, Maryland, nonattainment area has attained the 2015 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standards. This proposed Clean Data Determination (CDD) is based on quality-assured and certified monitoring data from 2022-2024.

If finalized, the determination will suspend the obligation of Maryland to submit certain planning requirements, such as attainment demonstrations . . .
