WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration officials has amended the Class D and Class E4 airspace over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, Pennsylvania, to ensure the safety of aircraft operating under instrument flight rules. This action, effective May 14, 2026, reconfigures the airspace to properly contain existing instrument approach procedures.
