The Heart and Vascular Care Unit at the University of Toledo Medical Center has earned a bronze-level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

UTMC is the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive a Beacon Award, a national honor for nursing unit . . .
