Employment & Training Administration Extends Compliance Date for State Staffing Rule

WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration is delaying the deadline for states to meet staffing requirements for the Wagner-Peyser Act Employment Service. State grantees now have until January 21, 2027, to comply with the mandate to use merit staff for delivering labor-exchange services.
