WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 -- New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced the reactivation of the Just Home supportive housing project at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, reversing previous attempts to block the development. During his remarks at the hospital campus on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Mamdani stated that the initiative will transform an underutilized building into 83 affordable apartments for New Yorkers leaving incarceration with complex medical needs.
