AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 16 -- Texas A&M University, a component of the public university system in Texas, posted the following news from its agriculture program:

Wildfire activity across the state is expected to increase this winter and spring as above-normal levels of vegetation dry and become highly flammable, according to the Texas A&M Forest Serv . . .
