WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration issued a final rule adopting a new airworthiness directive for several models from International Aero Engines LLC (IAE LLC), East Hartford, Connecticut. The directive aims to address safety concerns following reports of fan blade fractures that resulted in engine fires.
