WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is requesting public feedback on a draft environmental impact statement regarding the proposed license renewal for St. Lucie Plant, Units 1 and 2. This report examines the potential environmental effects of extending the operating licenses for an additional 20 years. Located in St. Lucie County, Florida, the facility sits approximately 7 miles southeast of Fort Pierce.
