WASHINGTON, Jan. 8 (TNSFR) -- The Council on Environmental Quality issued a final rule, effectively removing all regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 from the Code of Federal Regulations. The Federal Register notice announcing the decision was signed by Chairman Katherine R. Scarlett.
