Case Western Reserve University Identifies Ancestral Remains for Repatriation

WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 (TNSFR) -- Case Western Reserve University has finished an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in compliance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. The university identified at least 29 individuals of Native American ancestry within its collections. Following a review of acquisition history and geography, a cultural connection was established between these remains and four specific Indian Tribes.
