Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today announced that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will invest $2.7 billion to strengthen domestic enrichment services over the next ten years. This funding includes $900 million for Centrus Energy's American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
