WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (TNSxrep) -- Fiserv Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, released its Small Business Index for December 2025 indicating that small businesses concluded the holiday season with modest growth. The seasonally adjusted index reached 144 as year-over-year sales increased by 1.6 percent. According to the report, this growth was primarily driven by higher average ticket sizes rather than transaction volume, which remained flat during the period.
