WASHINGTON, Jan. 2 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service is amending the Cotton Board Rules and Regulations to decrease the value assigned to imported cotton, according to a direct final rule published in the Federal Register. The adjustment is a required annual update to ensure that assessments on imported cotton and cotton products remain identical to those paid by domestic producers.
