WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced at a press conference at Parliament House in Canberra that he has written to the Governor-General requesting the creation of a special honours list to recognise acts of bravery and service following the Bondi antisemitic terrorist attack that killed 15 people.

Albanese said the proposed honours would acknowledge police, emergency responders, medical staff, and civilians who acted with courage and selflessne . . .
