University of Michigan to Repatriate Ancestral Human Remains to Stockbridge Munsee Community

WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 (TNSFR) -- The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and determined that a cultural affiliation exists under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. The determination was published through the National Park Service as part of its administrative responsibilities, while the findings and conclusions remain the sole responsibility of the University of Michigan.
