WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 (TNSFR) -- Kansas State Historical Society, Topeka, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and determined that the remains are culturally affiliated with the Kaw Nation, Nez Perce Tribe, and Wichita and Affiliated Tribes. The determination was made in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act following consultation and an evaluation of available geographic and historical information.
